Welcome to Manor Farm

Manor Farm is a traditional mixed farm in Wotton, situated between Dorking and Guildford in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The family run farm extends to approximately 3,000 acres over a distance of 20 miles. We employ four full time staff year round, plus another two or three during harvest time. There can be around 13 people working across the business at any one time and with a host of specialists, contractors and agricultural services this can bring over 50 more to work alongside us.

Arable crops such as maize, peas, oilseed rape, fodder beet and wheat are grown for food and fuel production and approximately 500 beef cattle are reared each year. We also produce pure bred cattle from our Belted Galloway suckler herd and quality 'Beltie'beef sold direct from Manor Farm. We aim for high quality food production, choosing to undergo annual assessment by independant assessors. Manor Farm is Red Tractor Assured.

To keep apace with an ever changing farming industry, our business must adapt and diversify. We established Surrey Hills Business Park in 2001 by converting redundant farm buildings into offices, storage and a retail premises.

Manor Farm environmental projects
Environmental projects on the farm include hedge-laying, pond restoration and establishing field corners of wild flowers and grasses to encourage diversity of wildlife. Our cattle have been undertaking conservation grazing on the North Downs since 2009 and have created a favourable habitat forflora and fauna including the Adonis Blue butterfly.

Manor Farm is fully accredited as suitable for schools visits through the Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme (CEVAS) and has been awarded the Quality Badge by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom.
